Monthly Artist Feature May 2013: Marnodor

This month's artist feature for Creative Castle Monthly goes to ... :iconmarnodor:.

Dimitri Kulik, A.K.A. Marnodor (Marny for short), is known for his dynamic HTF style.  Speaking of dynamic, look at the backgrounds on his artwork, he put a lot of effort on them and they bring not only a lifelike scenery, but also some canon characters featured in the background of several of his works as well.  He is also known for his precise HTF style, hence also being more detailed and better looking than the original from the show.  

That's not all, this group picture is not only his best artwork, but also one of the best fanart in Happy Tree Friends history.  As of right now, the picture has received over 1,087 comments, 930 favorites, 25,550 views, and 1,398 downloads.

He's not very much active in the HTF fandom nowadays, but back in 2007, 2008, and 2009, he's much more prominent and more proficient in the fandom, especially in August-September 2007, the first two months of his dA career.

HTF isn't the only interest he does, he also has drawn characters in his own style and he have drawn some warfare as well.  Oh, he also did a couple MLP:FiM pics by the way.

Group Info

Where creativity meets cuteness and violence, Happy Tree Friends of course. The show was originated in late-1999, when All That was about to start their sixth and final season of the first run. Anyway, Happy Tree Friends has it's major focus on violence/gore, the content so extreme, it's even more violent than Cannibal Corpse and Elfen Lied combined, despite the show's childish and adorable appearance.
